Who handles your data
The data controller is Davide Salvatore, trading as Tirreno Studio, VAT no. IT18713391003, Ladispoli (RM), Italy. Contact: [email protected].
The “Request a demo” form
We collect your name, business name, phone, email (optional) and your answers to the form questions (what you need, industry, notes). We use them only to get back to you about the demo you asked for and to tailor it (legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The request is stored on Cloudflare and reaches our email through the Web3Forms service. If the connection drops while sending, the request stays in your browser’s storage and is sent again the next time you open the page. We keep this data only as long as needed to handle the request, and no longer than 24 months if no working relationship follows.
Together with the request, and only when you send it, we also record where you came from: the first page you saw, the page you opened the form from, the referring site and any campaign parameters (UTM), device type, browser language, country (not your IP address) and the time taken to fill in the form. To remember where you came from while you browse we use the browser’s session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. It only helps us understand which channels work.
We also count how many people reach each step of the form and which fields get touched: no answers and nothing that identifies you. How it works is explained below, under “Cookieless statistics”.
News (optional). Only if you tick the box will we occasionally send you news and ideas by email or WhatsApp (legal basis: consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The demo does not depend on this choice and you can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us.
If you write to us
If you contact us by email or WhatsApp we use your name, contact details and message only to reply and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal (legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Tirreno Studio’s email is handled by Zoho, on servers in the European Union; WhatsApp is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd.
Where the site lives
The site is hosted on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.), which processes technical data such as IP address and browser type to run and protect it (legal basis: legitimate interest in the site’s security, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The site’s fonts are served from our own server, not from Google. Some providers, such as Cloudflare and Web3Forms, may process data outside the EU under GDPR safeguards (Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).
Cookieless statistics
We count visits with our own counter, which runs on the same server as the site, and with Cloudflare Web Analytics. Neither sets cookies and neither is meant to recognise you, so no consent is needed.
Our counter records these things: the pages you view, how long you stay, how far you scroll and which sections you look at; clicks on buttons and links (the label and where they lead, not who pressed them); the steps of the demo form and the names of the fields you touch, never what you type; where you came from (the referring site, the page of our site you came from, or the campaign); device type, browser language, and country, region and approximate city, worked out by Cloudflare. Your IP address is not stored. To tell people from automated programs we look at your browser name and the network you come from: we do not store them, only whether you look like a person or a robot.
Each page view has its own random code and each visit another, which lasts only while the browser tab stays open. It is used to join up the pages of the same visit. It does not recognise you when you come back. We use no cookies, build no profiles and pass no data to third parties for advertising.
We keep the individual rows for 14 months. Then they are deleted automatically (it can take a few days) and only the monthly totals remain. The data sits in a Cloudflare database in Europe and only helps us understand which pages and channels work (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies
This site uses no profiling or analytics cookies. It only uses the browser’s storage: to remember where you came from during your visit, to join up the pages of the same visit in our statistics (the random code described above, which disappears when you close the tab) and, if the connection drops, to keep your form request aside and send it again. On the owner’s device the site also remembers not to count the owner’s own visits. These uses need no consent. If we ever enable analytics tools that use cookies, we will ask you first with a banner.
